Product Care and Safety

All of our products have been vigorously tested to ensure that they are safe to use within your home and of the highest possible quality.  We are fully insured and CLP (classification, labelling and packaging) compliant.

Candle Burning Advice and Safety

Advice

• Before lighting your candle avoid drafts to prevent ‘sooting’ or an uneven burn.  
• We would recommend burning a candle for 2-3 hours at a time to ensure an even burn.
• All our candles are made with soy wax and premium fragrance oils which are both vegan and cruelty free.  Please note both the soy wax and fragrance oil are not fit for human consumption.
• If burning more than one candle, ensure that they are at least three inches away from each other to prevent overheating.
• Once you have safely extinguished your candle and your candle has completely cooled, we would recommend trimming your wick using a wick cutter.  This will ensure that you have a safe flame height and burn time.

Safety

• Never pick up a burning candle or move a candle while the wax is in liquid form.  
• Never leave a burning candle unattended.  
• Never burn a candle near anything that could catch fire for example furniture, soft furnishings, curtains or paper etc.
• Keep candles out of reach of children and pets.  Do not place them where they can be knocked over or touched.  
• Please note both the soy wax and fragrance oil are not fit for human consumption.
• Always ensure that you have extinguished your candle thoroughly before leaving the room.  We suggest a wick snuffer which helps prevent ‘sooting’ and any wax from splashing.
• Do not touch the candle until it has completely cooled.

Diffuser Advice and Safety Advice

• Treat your diffuser with care and follow these safety precautions to ensure that you get the best from your diffuser.
• Your diffuser will last from 3-6 months depending on the size ordered but some factors can affect the longevity of the diffuser such as heat.
• When your diffuser is finished, you can wash and reuse the vessel.  Please do not reuse the reeds.  You can purchase a diffuser refill from our website which comes with a new set of reeds.

Safety

• Our diffusers are made from a vegan natural diffuser base which is designed for optimal fragrance throw and is not classed as hazardous.  Our fragrance oils are all vegan and cruelty free.  Please note that both our diffuser oil and fragrance oil are not fit for human consumption.
• Take care not to spill the diffuser liquid, as the liquid can cause damage to some surfaces.  A coaster can be used to protect surfaces.
• Keep your diffusers out of the reach of children and pets.  
• Never light the diffuser reeds.

Wax Melt Advice and Safety

Advice

• God’s Own Luxury wax melts are made with sustainable vegan soy wax and a percentage of premium vegan fragrance oils.  The wax melts are suitable for use in a tea light wax melt burner.  
• Break a section of the wax melt off and place into the top of the burner in the well.  Light the tea light and as the burner heats up the wax will melt and release the fragrance. 
• Once the tea light has been extinguished, ensure that the candle is extinguished fully, and leave the wax to harden, ready to use again.  You can melt the wax multiple times until it burns away.

Safety

• Always use the burner within sight and never leave unattended.
• Do not put too much wax in the burner well.
• Keep the wax burner out of reach of children and pets.  
• The wax and fragrance oil are not fit for human consumption.
• Never pick up the wax melt burner when it is in use.
• The wax melt burner will remain hot for a while once the tea light has been extinguished.  Wait until the wax melt burner has cooled down before you move it.
• Never add water to the wax melt
• Place burner on a heat proof surface prior to use
